Westmoreland County, PA — Central Pennsylvania has factored prominently in several wars that were fought on American soil.
Situated between the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War was a small, two-day battle located near present day Harrison City in Westmoreland County.
The site of that fight is known as the Bushy Run Battlefield.
Bushy Run Battlefield will be hosting large scale reenactments on August 5th and 6th, which is the 260th anniversary of the battle.
