Somerset County, PA — Robert Miller Jr. has retired after 45 years of service to the Children's Aid Home Programs and the Children's Aid Society foundation in Somerset.
Organizers say miller spent most of his life helping make sure children in the laurel highlands were cared for and had access to the necessary services to be successful.
He also played a role in the building of a new children's home facility. "Seeing those kids succeed and become responsible, caring, productive adults is my greatest reward. Couldn't be done without all the help we have though." says Miller.
Miller began his career at the Children’s Aid Home in Somerset as a college intern, in the summer of 1977. His last day was January 31st, 2024.
